Vibrant 6-Member Black Light Theater Company

Alan Bell – Art Director / Co-founder ADHK

South African born Alan Bell, is the artist behind ArcheDream. Growing up in the Age of Apartheid, he resolved to find an art form that would unify the racially divided audience in an ecstasy of wonder. While dedicating himself to the medium of blacklight for over two decades, Alan discovered a way to bridge his African roots with his European inheritance. Alan writes children’s plays for the Princeton Montessori School and he writes children’s music for a CD series called Kaleidoscope Songs with Alex Mitnick (www.kaleidoscopesongs.com). Alan helped Emily Nussdorfer establish Girl’s of Promise, a Philadelphia art and enrichment program for adjudicated inner city teen girls, and he is also artist in residence at the RHD Ridge Avenue Homeless Shelter for men in Center City Philadelphia.

Glenn Weikert – Executive Director / Co-founder ADHK

Glenn Weikert is an award winning multimedia designer, DJ, dancer and electronic music producer from central Pennsylvania. He attended The Art Institute of Philadelphia, Schiller International University in Heidelberg Germany and Harrisburg Area Community College where he earned degrees in Multimedia / Web Design, German and Communications. In addition to his Executive Director and board duties, Glenn performs in current ADHK touring productions. He has served as technical director, tour manager, booking agent, web designer, graphic designer, grants manager, accountant and chairman of the board for ADHK. Most recently, Glenn wrote and directed OneDream and BALANCE; two of ADHK’s nationally touring pieces. Outside of ADHK, Glenn is a professional web designer, DJ & producer of electronic house music. See www.glennweikert.com for mixes and a full artistic portfolio.

Jacqui Tichenor – Performer / Costume Designer

A competitor in synchronized swimming for sixteen years, Jacqui attended the University of Massachusetts on a water polo scholarship. Pursuing her artistic nature, she moved to Philadelphia to attend Jean Madeleine School for Hair and Cosmetology where she graduated at the top of her class. Her sharp eye for style and impact combine with her utilization of color to create her dynamic costume designs. She currently teaches art and fashion for the Girls on the Move cultural arts program.

Jessica Kroboth - Performer / Choreographer

Dancing since the age of three and competing since she was eight, Jessica has won several awards for her performance and choreography talents. Most notable among these are the Dance Educators of America and Dance Masters of America awards as well as scholarships she earned to attend The Governor's School for the Arts and the Virginia Ballet Theater. Jessica graduated from the University of the Arts with a BFA in dance with a focus on Jazz.

Daniel Sposato - Performer

Daniel Sposato is a Hip Hop Dance Instructor that teaches the styles that the culture was founded from - Locking, Popping, Up-Rock, and B-Boy (AKA Breakdancing). He also teaches basic House Dancing and has more than ten years dance experience in Hip Hop related dance. He has appeared in the Will Smith video "So Fresh", and has done shows with Rennie Harris and Pure Dance Movement. He has taught or is teaching his class in various places, including Drexel University (D.M.A.D.U.), Newtown School of Dance, The Turning Pointe Performing Arts Academy, Just to Dance Studio, The Dance Institute, Bally Total Fitness, Dance Xperience, Bucks County Dance Center, All Star Broadway, and Kathi's Dance Studio.

Patrice Caron – Performer / Choreographer

Patrice Caron graduated from University of the Arts in 2006 with a BFA in Jazz Dance/ Performance. She has been involved in the arts from the age of six. She recently wrote and directed Luminosity, a piece that centers on the themes of timeless wisdom and transcendent beauty. This concert brings together two of Westminster Choir College’s choral ensembles, the Blair Academy Choir and ADHK in the world premiere of a work by renowned British composer James Whitbourn. In addition to performing, Patrice is a teacher of Ballet, Tap & Jazz. She has been with ADHK since April 2006.

Geri Vanore – Performer / Choreographer

Geri Vanore has been dancing since a very young age. She attended the Creative & Performing Arts High School in Philadelphia (CAPA) and received a scholarship to the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York and the University of the Arts in Philadelphia where she studied all forms of dance. Geri has danced with PhilaDanco II, the Philadelphia Wings Dance Team and Identity Dance Company. She has been with ADHK January 2006.
